I just got word from my Husband that he was approved for the time off in Sept!

That mean I got to book our flights....free flights with our vouchers from getting bumped in Nov!!


Free Dining and Free Flight = one happy gal!


now if I could just get free MNSSHP and Night of Joy!!! AS IF!

Sounds like our DL trip last month-free flight and free hotel-all we had to pay for were tickets(paid to play at the kids price promo!) and meals-PLUS the hotel had free breakfast AND snacks from 5-7pm (if we got there in time)! (trip report around somewhere on DL boards)

You can save up for another WDW trip!!!

I booked my flights this weekend. It went pretty smoothly

The only trouble I had was that our flight on the way back connects in Atlanta, but on the way down it is direct.

I'm not too concerned because I'm hoping with the connection in ATL we might get another bump and get MORE free plane tickets!!! I"m all about changing my plans for free stuff that would normally cost me money that I could be spending at the World!

I am in the same boat. Free airline vouchers from SW, free dining (for part of stay only) and 9 days, 8 nights at the World for under $900. We have tickets left from last year too.

I am glad to hear that you did not have trouble booking your vouchers. I got nervous after another poster said that he had problems with blackout dates and such. Our only problem (if you call it that) is that we need travel to be complete by August 30 (vouchers expire). We did room only, AAA discount on the front end to make up the difference. I almost forgot, we have about $400 in Disney Dollars on our Visa card.

It really depends on what type of voucher the airlines gives you. If it is for a "free airfare anywhere", those are definitely hard to use. If it is for xxx.xx amount of dollars, than those are not hard to use at all.

When you are volunteering for bumps, try to get the ones that are worth xxx.xx dollars.
