Free Dining Extension ~ Oct-Dec

Ok that makes sense. Lets just hope that if it is released to the GP that I'm not working an early shift so I can call right away. My DD will not be happy if we have to switch resorts. However though it might be better to switch as I will be paying the difference to get DP as it is only QS at values. Thanks for answering my question.

When I priced it out staying at a value, it costs less to pay the upgrade cost for Disney Dining than it does if you switch to a MOD and get the Dis Plan free

20 years of WDW visits at Deluxe resorts, Disney Visa cardholder, member of just about every Dis club I can think of, never seen a PIN.

I called again this AM and no luck.

I always got free dining from Visa or general offer. Ingot the best rates by booking early and often.

But this years trip will cost 2000.00 more than last year and we only have the DP not the DDP .

May cancel as its a huge vacation expense increase over last yer for the exact same trip.

Am I the only one who thinks this pin is done? Other than a few random people being 'given' it, i have not seen anyone say they received it in quite awhile now.

I say they are done with emails, done with snail mail, but now they started this Disney-calls-you campaign Do they have ALL your phone numbers on record?? Gosh, I have gotten a lot of phone calls from Orlando this week and I never answered....maybe it was Disney!

Wow! That's a big price difference and that is not even counting the deluxe plan!!! Please don't cancel yet, at least wait to see if this free dining gig goes Disney Visa/GP

Yes, I had gone out with my girlfriends and my husband texted me to tell me. I thought he was just messing with me but I saw the number on my caller id when I got home. Called them back the next morning and she found the code under my name.

Not sure if this matters, but we were booked in a value. I've also been on a lot trying to plug in January dates. And I had had a three day trip booked before a cruise this post April that we ended up canceling. Not sure if any of those things factored in to getting one, but thought I'd share.

Edited to add, I always sign in to Disney.com and enter all of my info. Maybe they've been able to see that, although booked in a value, we've also been pricing out moderates as well.

Was it from a guest relations person? I had spoken with them last week & was told that she would take my reservation information down and if anything became available she would call.

My husband said it was automated. He was in the middle of something and was distracted, but he said he heard something about free dining and to press 1 to accept. He accidentally pressed end.You can see why I thought he was making it up, it sounds like a complete story lol

So happy to have found this thread...have been hoping to hear anything about possible extension of FD or RO for November. We are planning to go Nov.15-23rd and could really use some price reduction!

I too called to see if there was a PIN attached to my name but no luck. Boo. We went in 2010 and I did all the registering, ordering maps and vacation dvd - and I did get a PIN. However, absolutely nothing since. Hmmph. Oh well, if they end up offering to the GP I'll be happy. My fingers, toes and eyes are crossed!!
