Free Dining & DVC member

I read that there is a free dining being offered for November/December. As a DVC member are there options to take advantage of this opportunity? Just considering every possible exceptions that would be offered and personally how can I take advantage of this if it is? We've never been able to get an opportunity as a member. Is it even offered to us?

Sorry, free dining is never available for DVC members staying on points. It is only available with a full price room/tickets package reservation booked through WDTC.

The free dining offer for October and November 2009 (have not seen one that includes December this year EDITED: yes, there is a December one but it may be just for the quick service plan free) is not a general public offer. It is open only to those who receive targeted e-mail offers with a PIN code and those offers are not transferable; they can be used only by those who receive them.

In order to take advantage, you'd have to receive an e-mail or postcard with a PIN and a booking code, then book a room/tickets package through Disney within the promotion dates. As a DVC member, you'd have to forego using points for the reservation.
