Free Dining - did it end yesterday??

Hello

My DH & I have been debating about booking a last minute trip in late September/early October to take advantage of the free dining offer. I checked the availabilty of the value and moderate resorts yesterday (the 19th) - and I believe they were all available for the dates we were interested in.

I have checked the website now and none of the resorts seem to be available. In American English would the phrase 'This offer must be booked by 8/20/05.' mean it has to be booked BEFORE August 20th? I took this to mean it would be possible to book it on the 20th! We decided to leave the booking until the Saturday - having more time to finalise our plans together at the weekend.
Hopefully we have not missed our chance - I hope this is just a glitch in the system. Perhaps it would be better to try and phone to book?

There is a glitch. Disney's booking site (as well as their AP site) never seems to work correctly during mid-night and 7am Eastern Time. I've tried looking up things a lot of times during these hours mostly because I work nights and here I am online trying to unwind for bed. I'd call ASAP Saturday to get that free dining. I called yesterday to add an additional day to our trip and it went through no problem.

Edit to note* I just saw you are from the UK so if you wait about 2 1/2 hours more the site should work fine. Good Luck

Thanks very much DisneyWisher - I was hoping it was just a computer problem!! I will try again in an hour or so and hopefully it will be working OK by then!!

I just didn't want to have missed our chance by thinking about it for too long!!

You're welcome, you might have to wait about 2 hours since its only 5:19am here right now. While you are waiting you might want to think about where to eat. But you will need to call to make the ADRs. Because the of the free dining they are filling up quick but I was able to get everything we wanted. Also think about doing MNSSHP these are the dates. September 30, October 2, 6, 7, 11, 13, 16, 20, 21, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30 and 31. I wish we were going then but maybe another year. I'm happy with my 6 nights beginning 9/10. 3 more weeks and counting.
