Free Dining Black-out question

We are planning on going down for the Marathon in January. When I first started checking the available discounts, we were planning on going the Thur-Mon. around the marathon. At that time we looked at the offer for FD but our days fell right in the middle of the blackout period. But now we are thinking about coming down Wed. (the last day before the start of the blackout period) instead. Would we still be able to get the FD for the whole stay? I know if you check in before the end of a promotion, you still get the promotion for the entire stay but are the rules different for blackout periods?

As long as you check-in on a day that FD is offered, you will get FD for your entire stay (up to 14 days)
