Free Dining Black Out Dates

My sister and I are taking our niece (adult) to DW to give her a break in her life so she can have some fun and forget her problems for a while, as she is going through a nasty divorce and it is taking a toll on her emotionally. We will probably go the second week of November and I noticed that free dining is blacked out during the first two weeks of November. Is something special going on during those two weeks, or is it just a random thing that they aren't offering free dining at that time? Thinking about crowd levels.

That is Jersey Week.

The first week is Jersey week and the second week has Veteran's Day (some schools have that day off.) We are also going the second week and I'm hoping for lower crowds. We picked that week because I read a trip report where they had low crowds and great weather, so let's hope for the best!

That is the week we are going too....were hoping for free dining but we check in on Nov 7th and that is blacked out...check out the dates FD starts on but I think it is Nov 11 or 12...good luck...we were traveling with folks who were locked into Nov 7 with airfare, but maybe you can be flexible!!
