Free dining available for DVC resorts?

Is the free dining promotion available for guests staying at Disney Vacation Club resorts - or just the Disney hotel properties? What are the exact purchases required as far as park tickets go.

To get free dining when it is offered you must purchase a package that includes room at rack rate and at least a 1 day park ticket for everyone on the reservation. I guess if you make a full price reservation through Disney's Reservation System you might be able to get free dining if it is offered to the general public this year. You do not get free dining for stays on points at DVC. You may however purchase the dining plan for point stays. I believe they have a certain number of packages available when they do offer it and am not certain how that works out for each resort.
