Is free dining available for stays at the campsites with purchase of at least one-day tickets?

Why would Disney discriminate against campers? We are resort guests just like someone at the value resorts (Pop Century, etc) that are priced close to the close to the cost of campsites.:sad1:

I believe the main reason is the number of campsites and the amount of folks allowed on a campsite. There are only 700 some odd campsites

If they opened this up to the campsites, don't you know that all the locals would be booking the campsites up to the max with 10 folks per site and not even stay there!! They would do it just for the free food. The campground would be totally booked, BUT EMPTY!!!

I know many locals do this at the Values already, but there are some 7500 Value rooms, so they can absorb this.

Wow, I never thought of that. That makes a lot of sense. But, to bad for the real campers.

The food at WDW has been getting worse & worse lately anyway. What they have lacked in quality & good taste, they have made up for with higher prices & smaller selections. Just make your own, you'll be much happier (and save a ton of money).

So in other words - with free dining you get your money's worth.

Along with the 10 people you can put on a site you have those non-campers who rent a site for the Disney benefits and stay off-site.:sad2: That ruins it for us that stay at The Fort.

Hey Carol, that is the best theory I've heard re: no free dining for campers. Do you have an equally good theory as to why we have to pay for ice, get no towels for the pool, and no soap/shampoo dispensers in our showers? Just wondering.

:santa:

Yeah, you took the words out of my mouth! I'm wondering those things too. LOL
