FREE dining...are there excluded foods?

Haven't done Free dining in many many years, but it worked that we're going when they're offering so we're doing it!

But...I seem to recall there were specific restaurants that had specific excluded foods (like filet mignon and lobster is one that sticks in my head) for those on the dining plan (free or not).

I cannot find a list of these types of exclusions anywhere....I'm not fond of lobster so that's not an issue, but I do love a good filet mignon, and would like to indulge in a few if possible. Citrico's for instance doesn't have a lot that interests me except the Filet.....and I know Le Cellier is famous for theirs.

So, anywhere that limits entrees if you're on the dining plan?

The restaurants have no way of knowing if you have free dining or paid dining, and there are no exclusions anywhere. Some of the places that offer a prix fix have an upcharge if you use the DDP, but even that is only one or two places.

If an item on the menu states "for two" then two people need to order it.

Thanks! I knew the free dining wasn't the issue, it was that some places had exclusions years ago for the dining plans.

Could you tell me which offer the prix fixe upcharge and how much it is? Wish there was a list on Disney's website to tell us all this stuff, lol.

Monsieur Paul has one that is 2 TS credits + $30 if on DDP, and 2 TS + $14 if on DxDDP

I'm pretty sure if you order the feasts at Marrakesh, there is a charge as well, but I can't find a specific amount.
