Okay, so I'm about to book free dining, but there's a possibility we'd have to cancel because my DH may not be able to get the time off... we won't know until next week. What happens to that $200... can we apply to a future trip? Is there any cancellation penalties if we cancel in the next couple of weeks?

From how I understand it, you are refunded your deposit as long as you cancel before 45 days before your trip. The one thing to watch for is when you book, do NOT accept the travel insurance (unless you want it!) - THAT IS NON-REFUNDABLE.

Good Luck!

Thanks!

He actually got the phone call back while I was hoovering over the payment page and he got the time off!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

This is totally a spur of the moment trip for us. I woke him up this morning, asking if we could do this for my 30th birthday and he said, yup, let's go for it!!!

I can't believe it... I'm still in shock!!!!

:dance3:

YAY!! That's great news that he got the time off! DH is actually in the process of switching jobs and we decided that if it's not looking too bright on us going by the beginning of July that we'd just cancel and have to be okay with that. I hope that's not going to be the case! Who wants to have to cancel their Disney trip?

Thanks for the well wishes!!

That would be a bummer to have to cancel. I was trying not to get my hopes set too high since we'll be going over Labor Day and I thought a ton of people at his work would be asking for time off. He works at a clinic and he's the only one in his department (x-ray) and there's only one person that can fill in for him when he's gone. If she had to cover for nurses or had time off herself, we were done for... but that wasn't the case!! :thumbsup2

Now how am I suppose to get any work done today???? I've got a trip to plan!!

It would be a bummer, but we have two possibilities of where he'll be at either the Social Security Office or at new position within his company. Either way he should get off unless he is at the SS and has training. But if that's the case...That's just how it has to be.

I can't get any work done either! I've been trying to get through to make our ADR's without getting caught ;) Good Luck on the rest of your planning!
