Free Dining 2015 bounce back is out! Now with mixed up images.

My mom, aunt and I are going to be staying at Pop Oct 14-18. My mom is planning on taking a trip sometime next fall with my niece's family. They will be sharing a room. If the bounce back offer is still available in October when we go, can my mom reserve a room for her and my niece's family. It would be a total of 3 adults and 2 kids. Our current package is in my name with my mom and aunt in the room.

If I decided to do this as well for myself and grandchildren would we be allowed to book 2 bounce back offers?

Each adult, 18 and older, currently in the room can book a BB offer. So you, your Mom, and your Aunt can book one room each, three rooms total.

Just save the two day tickets. We've got two sets of two day tickets because we bought an AP last year and did fd twice this past year. They don't expire.

Next time you get an AP, you can use your two day tickets, then upgrade and pay the difference for an AP.

Or you can pull your two day tickets off MDE when you get there and put on hard tickets and give them away to friends or family.

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but how do I get the two day tickets? I've only ever booked packages before and the tickets were always associated with the package and I never had tickets separate from my room key or now magic band. I assume when I get the APs that I would link them to MDE, but would I be able to get separate ticket media for those two day tickets that won't be used?

When we went in 2008 we were able to book a bounce back for ourselves and then my husband booked for a friend coming with us the next year...can you still do that?

The two day tickets will already be linked to your MDE. When you check in to your resort with the free dining, you'll be able to use those two day tickets by entering the park with your magicband. But if you already have an AP, you need to go to Guest Relations before you enter your first park. They will pull your tickets off MDE and give you tickets on plastic cards which you can keep and relink to MDE at a later date or you can give them away.

Your two day tickets plus your AP will be on MDE. You just don't want to accidentally use your two day tickets when you have an AP. You can also go to Guest Relations outside the park and ask them to prioritize which tickets get used first if you don't want to pull your tickets off MDE.

Sorry if this sounds so confusing.

I'd call but DH is sitting here & really has no clue I booked a Free Dining BB offer while at CBR with DS19 the other week.

I booked Yacht Club but would they let me switch to BCV (if available)? Or am I stuck? Not a deal breaker but thought we might prefer a studio room instead.

I'm sure this has been asked before but I'm going to take the chance and bore you all. I booked the FD BB last week when I was at POFQ. We're going next September and now my sister in law wants to go too. Can I call and book a package for her with FD for the same time that we're going? Now that I'm writing it, the question seems strange and the answer is probably "no". :confused3

I don't believe so. However, I would call and ask. The worst case scenario is them saying no.

Generally BBs have to be booked while on vacation not after. As the pp said you can call and ask but it will probably be a no.

Actually, that makes it clearer. To see if I understand correctly, and I think I need to have some coffee first before I can really tell, I'll have the two day tickets on MDE because of the package. But then I'll link the APs to the MDE myself. When I get to WDW, I need to go to Guest Relations before we enter a park and have them unlink the 2 day tickets and then I'll just have the APs on MDE. When we enter the parks for the first time then, we'll be entering on the APs.

When I'm booking FP+, it won't matter what tickets/passes I have linked to MDE, right?

You've got it! :thumbsup2

When you're booking FP with an AP linked to MDE and you have a resort stay, you will be able to book 60 days out for the number of days you are staying at the resort.

Now, the one thing I do want to mention......if you do choose to pull your two day passes off MDE and put them on hard plastic tickets, don't lose them. If you lose those tickets and they are no longer linked to your MDE profile, they are gone. Some people just choose to prioritize which tickets get used first and leave everything on MDE. It's your choice. :goodvibes

Thanks. I'll call and ask, but I'm afraid that you're probably both right. Sister in law isn't "positive" that they can go now anyway. C'mon! How can you not be positive that you want to go to WDW?!

You can switch resorts, if rooms are available at BCV for the dates of your trip. The other option is pick different dates to accommodate room availability at BCV.
