Free Dining 2014 Discussion ~ Part 2

I'm a Disney Visa cardholder and have been waiting ANXIOUSLY for days for that code to come. When I woke up this morning and didn't see an e-mail with the code, I started to panic (especially when I saw that others on this board received their e-mails as early as last night). I called the number on the back of my card, and the woman I spoke to told me I should have received an e-mail directly from Disney. Looking to stay at CBR in November. How can I get the code????
Also...do I have to book directly through Disney to get the deal right now, or can I take the code to AAA and receive the discount?

You don't need a code. The CMs have the code. You just need to put the deposit on your DV. I've had the DV for years and have NEVER received an email.

After hitting 2:10, I grabbed my wife's cell phone and called 407-934-7639. Different prompts (I was able to say agent and bypass some things this time), but I got a person on the phone in 10 minutes saying i was doing a new reservation. Somehow my original call at 7:00am got lost in the queue or was just low priority. Hope that helps.

Same situation. Waited from 7-9:30 in original queue as a reservation change, dialed from second line at 9:30 and followed new res prompts - had a CM online within 5 minutes.

Ah well. I got to watch a sunrise, listen to some fine and fun music, cuddle my cats, watch the little one wake, and got some work done. All is good and this is all part of the fun that is planning a vaca.

What a morning! Dialed in at 7:00. On hold for an hour, had to hang up and get kids to school and had a meeting. Just called in waited 9 minutes on hold, booked vacation, done in 23 minutes!

Por will be able to get free dinning on May 7th. I am basing this off of so many people changing from the POR to another resort for free dinning there number will go down and they will offer it.

2.5 hrs on hold on with CM who has put me on hold 3 different times going on 15 mins to change my res!! .
I'm so tired of this music!

Aaaaaannnnnddddd now we have the bugs again. Been up all night. This is just making me want to sleep. Afraid to hang up and call back. Thoughts?

Do not hang up! It is something with that music. I too was very afraid while holding. It got scratchy at times and even sounded like someone was picking up a line and listening then hanging up (i was on a cell) the beauty and the beast music had the most issues. Kept sounding like an old cassette tape.

I was nervous about my connection but decided to take my chances...glad I did, once I spoke to CM it was clear as day!

Yay!!!!! Finally at 1:53 mins on hold (with one dropped call in the mix) I got through and got what I wanted (other than POR). When she was confirming the payment with the DV I lost the call again (UGH!!!) but everything shows correctly in MDE. Just awaiting my email confirmation and payment on Chase account to be sure it went through just fine! CSR sept 26-October 2 in a business class room (cabana 9B and concierge room)! Sooooo excited and we get to try a new resort!!!

Aaaaand the email has arrived and visa was charged. I can breathe!!!

Hang in there everyone who is still waiting...it is grueling but hopefully worth it!!!

1.5 hours on hold to modify and finally got a wonderful CM to help me out!

Switched to CSR Preferred room Nov 1st though the 5th with Free dining!!! 4 night stay qualified, but no POR.

Woot!!!!!!! So happy!!!!!
