Free Dining 2013

Woohoo!!! Just got my email confirmation from Disney. The total package amount is correct, but mine still does not state "free table service", etc like some of yours. I think it is because I booked with TA. Here is what mine looks like:

Confusing. Booking through the TA only phone line I think gives a different confirmation email.

I just found out, per my new friend Carlton, if you upgrade a dining plan it will not say "free" on the itemized confirmation.

Ah...mine doesn't say the "free" part but I did upgrade, so that must be why. Did find a typo on my ressie though...they have me travelling with someone I've never met and not with my adult dd (as in, for linking our ressies.)
Might give them a call and fix that. I don't want these schedulers looking all over for a ressie with "Ronald" to put near my room.

Hopefully this is my last update to the update.

Carlton came through!!!! It was so blatantly obvious that it was a Disney mistake they didn't even need to involve me. He was extremely apologetic and confirmed everything my TA said (they record ALL calls on the TA line). That she had asked for FD, never mentioned RO and double checked twice to make sure I was getting the Free Dining offer.

They moved me back to Finding Nemo with Free Dining!!!

My TA also told me the only invoice she got from Disney stated "with plus dining/VISA". To me that looked like the FD offer too.

Thank you everyone for your support; it was much appreciated. So sorry I could not get you the FD pin.

So happy to hear Carlton came through for you and that you got your Nemo room back! That's wonderful! I still wonder what happened with these reservations! Enjoy your evening!

When I used my visa to book the S/P/D offer it never mentioned S/P/D anywhere just "visa offer" that may play a role as well.

Have you tried calling your TA and asking for an itemized confirmation?

I finally received the "Disney" confirmation. Not sure why they don't send that to start.

That kind of makes sense as you have to pay the difference for the upgrade. So very glad it all worked out for you!

I know...right? LOL There isn't even anyone of the ten of us with a name anything LIKE Ronald. I called and got him removed and my dd added. The CM was confused how the original CM got it that wrong. LOL

He's probably quite a catch, as he has our last name, which is awesome, and he apparently likes Disney...what's not to like?

While I had the CM on the phone, I had her check every possible combo of email and addys to see if we had any pin codes (want to add my first night to FD vs. the RO I have.) No luck. But at least we are happy with what we have.

Of all the reside screw ups, this one is actually entertaining. I bet Ronald was the name of the CM and he just wanted to go on a WDW family trip. Now his dreams have been crushed...lol. : )
