Free Dining 2013

Absolutely true! That is the year I went in Dec. and I had thought I had missed something- I am late to catch onto a lot of things, but not usually Disney offers. I frantically called and I they said there was no DV offer. And I still got my room of choice!:goodvibes

Yep, we went in December that year too - and it was freezing! But we ate well ;-)

Maybe because of the enormous date range. Just a thought.

Yep, that was the consensus. Personally, I wish they would put out all discounts a year early - that would be awesome for me. It's never probably ever going to happen again, but I would like it if they did ;-)

And if I get a bounce back this year I'm booking it. I can't take this constant waiting.

I'm starting to think the same thing, although it would force us to take a trip earlier than otherwise planned. Question about bounce back offers... are they specific to the resort you stay at (e.g., current deluxe must book future deluxe stay)?

And, yes, I know off-topic of the thread, but since we are all just waiting anyway...! ;)

No, Bounceback offers are not resort specific :-)

I just saw this haha.

President, noooo, the president never gets to have any fun. I'll be chief ride rider. Yeah that sounds fun.

I like that I idea even better. Can I apply for a job as your assistant rider? Can I, can I, can I? Please!!:cloud9:

Sorry if this is a dumb question, still a newbie! What exactly is a bounce back offer? :confused3

Thanks! :goodvibes

It's a special offer that you can only reserve during your stay at a WDW resort. Bounce back - a deal to come back again.

They are typically found on a flier in your hotel room when you are there, and usually for a year from your visit (as in, they offer for the next Aug. when you are there in Aug.) They range from free dining to room discount, and are to be booked while you're still there.

It is a discount offer that would be available to guests who are staying at a Disney resort and give them the opportunity to book another vacation. They usually leave the Bounceback flyer on the table or nightstand in your room and it has to be booked before you check out. If there is not a BB flyer in your room, you can call guest services at your resort and ask if one is available. BB offers vary from season to season and are sometimes for FD offers and sometimes for room only discounts.

While you are staying at WDW they will put a flyer in your room(usually) with an offer to come back next year, but you must book before you check out; just pay $200 deposit.:)

They are now putting them in the booklet you get at check-in.

I got one every year but last year. Or I just missed it somehow.

What!!! How did I miss that? I'm pretty sure the same offer is for the whole season it is being offered in. I must have just totally overlooked it. Or can they vary by weeks?

Pretty much every fall, since about 2006, they have had a Bounceback offer in the rooms that was for free dining for the next fall - usually covers mid August through September, sometimes early October. We got a Bounceback in December of 2010 and 2012 for free dining in the August/September timeframe.

Ya know what? I bet in 2004 (or 2006) it was for only a nominal RO discount and I bet I just never paid close attention after that. Or, one the kids ate it and I never saw it!:rotfl: Now I am going to be on the hunt for one!

This was the Bounceback offer that was left in our room September 2012. What is interesting are the dates for moderate. I completely changed the week I would normally book. We always worked it to be there for Food & Wine and use our snack credits there. Now looking at re-booking and cancelling this one.
