Free Dining 2013

Creatively thinking.... what happens if you book a vacation with free dining, but for some reason don't show up for the first day of the package. Is your whole package cancelled? Or... if you pay for that first day (even though you aren't there), would your package remain the same?

I'm not exactly PLANNING on missing that first day, but if our drive just gets too long and we can't quite make it.... what would be the consequence if we booked (and paid for) a package that started on the last day of free dining, but we didn't arrive until the following day?

Are the pins for oct- nov the same exact PIN number ???? For each person ? Or are they random different numbers?

Pin codes all have different numbers and are name specific and non-transferrable.

Call your resort and let them know you won't make it and request for them to not get rid of your room. My reservation has a note already on it that we might not arrive til possibly after 4am

With these PIN codes some lucky few are getting, do you know if you have to book a minimum amount of days?

All free dining promos, whether they be pin code, visa or general public, have always had a 3 night minimum and and 14 night maximum booking requirement. Any different verbiage you see in print advertising or in emails or on the WDW site are only for advertising purposes or pricing examples.

Thank you! I talked to one of the chat people on the Disney website and they gave me the wrong answer. They said that I had to do at least 5 nights. I then tried it online and was able to get it for 4 nights. Ridiculous.

I agree! Some of the misinformation they give out through that chat is ridiculously wrong and very inconsistent.

You would have to check in before 6 am on the following morning or your entire reservation would be cancelled and would be non-refundable.

In all the years we have been to Disney, I have only gotten an email pin code twice. So random!

I never got either.

Closest I ever get are the FL resident deals.

No kidding! I was thinking..."if they say I have a pin this will be the best Mother's Day gift to me from Disney!!" But...no go. He said keep trying, and I made sure they had all our email addresses. Who knows! If only I could let it go and forget it till July. Ha!!

I'm going to have to. Called earlier and nothing. Raindow (super nice) checked my name, husband's name, our address, and both of our emails for a pin. No luck. But she did say to try back. I'm crossing fingers toes and sitting under all this pindust people are taking about haha

When I called Thursday the CM I talked to ran my name, my DH name, email, my cell number and my old home number and nothing...she found one yesterday though. I'm not sure what info she used to find it and I don't care My fingers & toes are crossed for you!!!!!

I didn't disagree with what a supervisor told you, i was agreeing. You said told them you would arrive around 4 am and they told you it would be fine. That is correct because the policy is that you have until 6 am, the day after your actual reservation, to check in. And if there is an issue like a delayed or cancelled flight, they will wave the 6am rule also.

What are the dates for this offer? Is it separate from free dining or inclusive of that?

It is late so I am done after this. What does everyone think of purchasing the photopass(?) CD ? Does it include ride shots? How many magical shots is there? I know we will purchase ride shots. Worth it?

The photopass plus definitely includes ride shots (and character dining shots). Regular photopass does not include ride shots other than Test Track. If you're going to be buying ride shots, then yes, the photopass CD is definitely worth it - especially if you pre-order it to get $50 off purchase price. It's nice to have all your photos in one place; you can even have any digital photos you take yourself to the CD - no limit on number of photos.

Well we weren't lucky enough to get a pin code last round they sent them out so I called. She looked me and my husband up to no avail.

Now I hear that people call back and are lucky to get a new code...maybe I need to just put them on my contact list and call every couple days.

I know that I heard more codes should be coming out this week...guess I will be stalking our E-mails again for that magical dust.

We already have our reservations but we have a reservation at Port or Orleans French Quarter and my fear is that all the rooms for the Free Dining will be gone by the time / if we ever get a pin code / it goes public in July.

We are flexible with our resorts and willing to change as necessary. We did last year as the AOA Little Mermaid Rooms weren't included so it was a no brainer to switch to pop.

This year we're hoping for Moderate for the bigger beds though. My kids weren't too thrilled to be sleeping on the comforters on the floor when we realized the beds just weren't big enough with our 10 month old son between us lol.

WDW Free dining email pin codes were sent out last week. Pin codes are random and are name specific and non-transferrable.

For arrivals most nights 8/25– - 10/2/13,
10/18– - 10/31/13, 11/11– - 11/23/13,
11/30– - 12/4/13 and 12/15– - 12/22/13.

Book by 8/14/13

Most of these fall/winter dates should drop for the general public this summer, probably July.
