Morning,

Does anyone know the end date for the offer of free dining in summer 2010?

Is is the 14th July or does this relate to this summer?

:thumbsup2

I phoned disney.co.uk last week and enquired about OKW & SSR for 2 week in Sept 2010. I wanted the Dining Plan offer. I was told that I had until Dec 21st 2009 to book my trip. I was advised that the accomadation for those two resorts are limited and the booking would obviously be based on availability.

I cannot be sure that all accomadations and all dates have the same closure date because I was very specific in my questions to the lady, however I would be surprised if the 21st Dec date was different for any other accomadations/2010 dates.

july relates to this summer, i think its around dec time for booking for next summer

This is from Thomson holidays Catch it while you can though, this offer only applies to bookings made before the 15th of July 2009 or bookings made before 31st December 2009 for 2010 holidays

Virgin Book early for your 2010 Disney holiday and enjoy FREE Disney Dining at selected Walt Disney World Resort hotels! Book by 31st December 2009 for stays completed between 1st August and 18th November 2010.

First choice Get in there while you can, though, as this offer is only for bookings made before 15th July 2009 or 31st December 2009 for 2010 bookings

I would expect Disney.co.uk to add these dates to their own site after 15th July when this years offer expires.

Just recieved literature from Disney.co.uk about 2010
T&C's say Available for bookings made by Dec 29th 2009 for hotel stays between 1st Aug and 18th Nov 2010.
Strange as they are saying by phone 21st Dec and travel companies saying 31st Dec, looks like no-one knows, 3 different dates.

Only thing I don't know is when the 42% off at OKW & SSR ends. In the info sent it says £213/night for next August no mention of 42% off(works out at more than 42%, its £100/night to book now), a bit more than the £91/night we paid this August.

not sure if to book today or see if the 42% will be there tomorrow??

Sarah I am booking today, can't afford for the 42% offer to expire. We are going to do 10 nights OKW and 5 nights WL, although am going to see if I can squeeze another night it possible and make it 16 nights in total;)

I just can't book it before we try it next month. Not sure if we will like the DDP. Want to see how we go with the internet connection, don't think its going to work well.
To me its no big loss, I know we are going to miss offsite dining but if the deal is for you then book it.

we havent tried ddp either but next year will ahve two infants so a better hotel would be great compared to pop with two cots so very tempted and its only 100 if i have to cancel

42% off?

Hmm I haven't seen this before.

Last week I booked for OKW in sept 2010 for 2 weeks and got the free Dining Plan. I was not aware the price also had 42% off as well. Or am I missing something here?

Sarah I had the DDP in 2007 and loved it, we are upgrading this time and going with the DDDP:banana:I am not sure how much help the DDP will be with 2 infants, it might be more of a struggle for you to have as many sit down meals every day, but you don't have to use it at TS places, and hey if it's free, you can't go wrong! I think you will love it this year though and I found that we ate in places we wouldn't normally try as it was all paid for in advance. I found it very relaxing to be able to have sit down meals everyday, for me it's all part of the holiday experience, although I know it's not essential for others.

I am booking today mainly for the 42% off as I know I can get free dining later on, but the chance to get a deluxe at such a good price and be able to upgrade to DDDP for such a cheap rate is what is pushing me. I would have quite happily stayed at POFQ or CBR, but this offer is too good to pass up for me.

Did you pay about £100/night for a studio? If you did then that included the 42% offer, OKW & SSR are normally about £200/night for a studio or $300+ tax on .com, It works out same price as a moderate with Quick service DDP or cheaper than staying in value and paying for food. :thumbsup2

we have booked for saratoga springs for october 2010, we were told though you had till the end of this year to book free dining for then

cant wait, its our first free dining and first time at saratoga springs, we have booked the 2 bed villa cant wait

Okay time for some sums :)

We paid approx £1900 for OKW studio, 14 day ultimate tickets and free dining. Forgetting the dining plan as that is supposed to be free, I need to take off approx £250 per person (2 adults) for the tickets. So we paid about £1400 for the accomadation. We have booked from 12th Sept - 26th Sept so thats 14 nights. So its about £100 per night.

So I think that means I got the 42% off offer also am I right?

When I was looking to book I looked at POP and other similar level accomadation the price for accomadation and tickets + paying for the dining plan was around or slightly more expensive than booking the OKW and getting the free dining plan. So guess what we done :)

At the end of the day whether we got the 42% off or not didn't count I just wanted to get a holiday booked and the money for it saved up before the end of the year, as there is a 95% chance I will be redundant by January, 100% chance by April (my office is closing). Will give me something to look forward to after having to search for a job from early 2010 until whenever I find a new job. I am just a bit happier to think that I got even more money off than I expected (I think).

YAY Sarah so glad you can go ahead and book:banana: I know you are going to Saratoga, but when are you planing on going? We intend to go Sept 10th, hopefully will leave from Glasgow, but will take Manchester if we have to.
