Disney released their new streaming service http://www.disneymoviesanywhere.com/ which is really pretty cool. You basically go through the app and buy through iTunes. It then throws the movie in both the Movies Anywhere app as well as allowing you to use it through all the other Apple Channels. It'll eventually allow you to push it to other services like Amazon etc.

I've been buying digitally for awhile as we stream all content in my house to Apple TV's, but was going to stop and go back to buying Bluray and ripping because of the Movie Rewards points I was missing out on.

This App solves that.

To the point of the thread: Right now if you access it and link to your iTunes account you get The Incredibles for free.

Thank you for sharing this info! :goodvibes

Anyome have tips to make this work? I went to http://www.disneymoviesanywhere.com. Clicked on teh incredicles ad thing. Connected to my Itunes. And that was all. No Incredibles movie. when I search for it in Itunes it says 19.99. I tried to go out and replicate the steps and it says I've already linked??

It seems that in recent months, the digital copies packaged with the Blu-ray combo packs are no longer the traditional disc that is tied to iTunes or Windows Media. All you do is enter the DMR code at a specified wsebsite, pick your service provider, and you're good to go...

The latest digital copies (last week's "Jungle Book", this week's "Thor: The Dark World", and the upcoming home release of "Frozen") give you a one-time option of choosing your provider (I normally choose Walmart's "Vudu" service, since they are Ultraviolet-compatible).

Not a big fan of the old "run your disc through iTunes" thing (but I understood Disney and Apple had a business relationship), but I am more than OK with redeeming a code to watch over my PC/smartphone/digital streaming device...

When you go into the iTunes store, pull up your "purchased" movies... it should be right in there. They dropped it in the purchased area and then you can download it from there. Give that a try .... :goodvibes

I came to disboards after going to the disneymoviesanywhere.com site because I found out about the free Incredibles DL. Yes, I have iTunes, no, I don't think I will be watching movies from my computer or iPad (don't have one!). But I might in the future. But, is this a free thing? Not like Netflix or something, correct? I'm just being careful, I don't want to sign up for something that is going to be a monthly fee. Saving for a WDW trip in July. Need every penny I can save!

Awesome! Thanks OP. The Incrediables was sitting right there in my itunes account. Thanks!!

Am I the only one having issues with this? I log in and it asks me to update my account and then it says service unavailable. Ugh!!!!

Thank you so much! I got the free copy of The Incredibles! I've never even tried to access my digital copies of movies and now that my DMR account is linked to my iTunes, I see all of them and will finally start using them!

Is anyone having problems with all of their digital files on DMR not showing up in the app? I have purchased and linked lots of blu rays with free digital copies on DMR but only the free incredibles movie and nightmare before Christmas are showing up in the app? Any idea how to get the other ones on it too?

Did you redeem them through iTunes? If they were redeemed through Amazon, Vudu etc they won't be there. From what I've read they'll hopefully eventually team with other services but for right now it's just iTunes. Which is irritating since I have 5 movies that at the time could only be redeemed through Amazon. You can now get them on iTunes but you'd have to pay again. I'll just hang out and hope they partner with Amazon soon.

I've only ever bought the actual dvd's and when I get my points on Disney movie rewards it tells me I have a digital copy as well. Since the app linked to DMR I assumed all my digital copies would transfer to the app but only nightmare before Christmas did. It's just weird that that one movie transferred to the app from DMR but none of the others did?

When you do that you actually have to continue on to iTunes. Do you still have your codes? If so, go to your iTunes account and click on "redeem" and then enter the codes.

eta: the movies that did transfer are probably already in your iTunes account.

I just tried(only with my codes from my blu ray combo packs) and it's saying the codes aren't valid. Are all disney digital copies iTunes compatible? Thank you so much for your help!:)

Ok so I just wrongly assumed all blu ray combo packs came with digital copies...I'll have to pay more attention from now on to make sure I buy the ones that come with the digital copy.
