Free covid test if you have symptoms?

Have you ever entered on a questionnaire that you have covid symptoms such as cough in order to get it free?
Our CVS will still do free rapid covid tests if you say you have any symptoms. (Heck, I have cough and congestion all year long due to allergies so it wouldn't even be a lie.) Would you do this to avoid paying $186 for pre-cruise testing? I'd be afraid of some bad karma, like Disney might see that you reported having symptoms and not let you board.
I'm asking for my niece on a very tight budget.

Yes, have done it at Walgreen's.

The Walgreen's one asked if you have been exposed and/or had symptoms. answered yes, with no symptoms. My friend did have covid and I saw her before she tested positive.

Never told them I had symptoms. I was in CVS Wednesday getting my third booster shot and they had signs up that covid tests are still done at no charge. Well no charge to you, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are picking up the tab.

We did a free Rapid PCR CVS test to sail on our cruise last week. All we did to get an appointment was click that we had concerns on keeping distance from others which is true can’t keep distances on a cruise and wanted to make sure we are Covid free before sailing. We booked our appointment 2 weeks before we needed to test and had all the time slots to pick from.

Well no charge to you, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services are picking up the tab.

Only for people who are uninsured. For those with health insurance, it is covered.

Mine did not....it did show just the type of test but nothing else about symptoms at all.
