Free APs for under 7s

Just looking to see if the AP magazine was out yet on the disney site and I came across this:

I think, from my quick read, that under 7s can get a free annual passport until 30th September.

Could be useful to someone

i think it probably says for every full paying adult who buys and AP then the child under 7 gets a free AP

1) valid on all types of APs
2) free AP must be same type as purchased AP

I suppose that the proof of family is the only thing subject to question. I had a long chat with the CM at the AP office who took my ID about the wide variety of identity cards they see there (and countries which don't use identity cards) I didn't have my German identity card with me when I bought my AP but had other identity

Hi All

Just back after our 4 day trip - bought 5 dream AP's on April 2nd ( 3 adults & 2 kids under 7 with 10% sponsorship discount) but no mention of any free under 7's AP's - will post trip report over the weekend - had a great time.
But not very happy about missing out on freebies !! Will email the PP office to suss out. Could have availed of 20% family discount when including my mother as the address issue didn't arise. But didn't want to let fellow board member down after getting lots of advice so didn't bother.
Perhaps the freebies dont apply to sponsored AP's ??

i assume if we turned up with our uk passports and e111 cards this would verify our identity for the offer of the free ap for under 7's wouls you advise printing of the page from the internet with us when trying for the offer

Given Hazelgrove's experience I would print out the page. I've always found the AP office a bit of a hit or miss affair.

Forgot to say that the Francillian AP is now available to all - not just locals as was previously the case. And not that it matters really, we bought Fantasy passes as opposed to Dream passes as I orignally stated.

This great news for us, as we are going in June (me,DW,DD6 and DMIL). This means that we would save on the cost of DD6 AP,and use the sponsorship on two others!! I presume that you will not be allowed to claim the sponsor discount on the Buy one-get one free deal too? Has anyone returned from DLRP and benefitted from this new offer? Any feedback would be of great interest to this board. Many thanks again.

I'd be interested to see if you can combine discounts too. Maybe that's why Hazelgrove wasn't offered the new deal. Although buy one get one free is much better than 10% off in most instances so you thought someone would have offered it.

You never know what you will be offered in AP office I think it depends on their mood

Hi this is my first post and getting brain ache from all the information available here. Family (DH, DS (5), DD (3)) and I are going to DLP in August I have pre purchased 3 day hoppers from 365 tickets and now just read this thread!! Will I benefit from this deal or am I too late? Would the DLP AP office refund the other days or not?

Experience of most other posters are that you will get one day's credit when upgrading package tickets to annual passports. Not sure what happens with buying ticket from an agent. Are you not able to cancel pre-purchased tickets?
