Free Annual Passes at Disneyland

OK, we are going to DL this weekend and are very interested in this deal. Do we need to have a referral when we attend this presentation? If so, will someone be able to give us a referral? We are very interested in this offer and will probably commit this weekend if they will give us the 15% and the annual passes to WDW. Please PM me if you can refer us!

Thanks!

Good luck...jus PMed you! Bob :cool1:

I just this minute called the DVC desk at the Grand Californian. The rep told me that the free passes, from what she was told, are only for DL (NOT WDW) and that they were only for new purchasers, not members adding on.

She did not ask specifically, but very much doubts that you could get the passes plus the 15% off. Normally, you get one promotion, not two, she said.

Y'all be careful out there.

We booked for a presentation for Feb 5th. They are offering $50 for attending a presentation, which is better than nothing, but considerably less than what you typically get for attending a timeshare presentation.

The incentives that you get (the 15% off and free annual passes) are for purchasing the DVC. The passes are good for Disneyland or Disney World. The guides are the ones who make this offer. The reps at the kiosks probably wouldn't know that. They are the ones who try to get you in the door and offer the $50 gift card for doing so. I hope this helps for anyone going to DL soon :thumbsup2

I n my DVC last email letter they said the Friends and Family 15% off with a referral name will end 2/1. I noticed that your presentation is after that, did they mention that when you booked it. Carol ::MinnieMo

That wasn't mentioned. However, if they don't want to offer that promotion, there seems to be plenty of resale options which should put me at or less than $83/point. Even for SSR, TTS has $79/point available for sale.

Wow!!! That's a great deal!!!. I remember my guide saying that they would never do that again, as it cost Disney so much. Bet the Guides in Florida aren't too happy. :rolleyes1

Update:

My DVC guide in FL called me to say they were finally advised on this promotion after I posted. It is indeed only for new purchasers, not add-ons.

That still doesn't explain why the Grand Californian kiosk gal and her supervisor hadn't heard of it.

Seems like there ought to be some better communication.
