Marna- you know who I feel about "Fear and Loathing"!!!!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

That is when DH almost died from laughing- yes- it really did almost happen people! Death by laughing- he was lying on the floor laughing so hard- he was lietterally afraid he was dying of a heart attack- while I looked on cracking the heck up! :rotfl2: We had to put the movie on hold for a while to let DH- get his composure!:lmao: After that movie- DH has become a BIG Gonzo fan!

And Chocolat is another must see!

Let me warn you Dotty- He becomes nauseating to look at in the end of this movie! You thought George was bad in Blow- wait until you see John Wilmot with syphilis....lovely.......:scared: I love John Malkovich in any movie he does!

More JD movies!

The Man who Cried- he does not have a big part- but I love Christina Ricci and Cate Blanchett.

Secret Window

Once Upon a Time in Mexico- awesome!

From Hell- awesome.

The Ninth Gate- that was....just OK.

The Astronaut's Wife......mmmm, not really good.

Secret Window. I remember that one, it really, really bothered me...a lot...wasn't that a Stephen King story?

Marna- I am still crossing my fingers for a good outcome!

You know- if you lived somehwere that had snow all the time- you would probably get sick of it after a while. I know when we have bad winters- as much as I love snow- I can't wait for the warm weather.

You know what else- we live about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes from the ocean and we just take that for granted b/c it was always there- I do not even want to go to the shore anymore b/c I have seen enough of it- some people never get to see the ocean and we can go anytime we want....
go figure.....:confused3 :headache:

We are about 20 minutes from the beach, and we don't go that often either. We like the pool, it is closer and cleaner. That's funny- Yankees call it "the shore" and down here we call it the "beach"..:confused3

:rotfl2: We say "the shore" b/c it can mean a few things- when you go to the shore- you can just go to the boardwalk or do other activities "at the shore" ie- fishing, boating, jet skiing, dining.

BUT- when you are down the shore- you CAN go to the beach, but you have to be "down the shore" BEFORE you "go to the beach"........:rotfl2: So- the Southerners are missing a step.....:rotfl2:

HE IS SO PRECIOUS!!!!
I agree
MVM- have you ever heard of Miniature Nigerian Dwarf Goats?? I know- just b/c you have horses- does not mean you would know about goats:lmao:

I am just asking b/c DH saw them on Craig's List and I said I wanted one and it can live in my house! They are only supposed be about 16-22 inches high and about 35lbs. DH said I was crazy:rotfl2:

But I wanna little goat.......:yay:

BTW- DH says that is my middle name "I want" :rolleyes1
John says my middle name is Amex card. and DD middle name is hold on:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

She went to "GA" Goat's anonymous- she is much better now.....
:rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We say going to the beach here. When we go to the boat it is going on the water:confused3

I am home today. WE have a not sio fun filled day with the DRS today. I get a full Chemo treatment. I am taking these pills so lucky for me I only have to every 2 weeks get plugged in. Then I get my radition treatment. But I swear to god they are roasting me like a chicken. :rotfl2: I get hit for like 20 minutes the I get to move or as I like to call it the basting and hit again for 20 minutes. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Are you Original Recipe, Extra Crispy or Hot & Spicy?
:rotfl2:

Seriously though, , wish I could think of something to help make it easier for you.

I hate going to the shore, (I grew up near Seaside, didn't bother me when I was a kid tho), makes me feel like bait. I prefer a nice, clear, fishpoopfree swimming pool. Did you ever hear the story about the shark that moseyed up a creek, I think it was back in the late 1800's. Killed a couple people. They origianally said it was a great white, but now think it was a bull shark as they are the only one that frequents this area that can live for a certain amount of time in fresh water. I can't swim in anything I can't see the bottom of, it creeps me out:scared1:

We had goats for a couple of weeks when I was a kid.

My dad came home from a bar with them. I'm not entirely sure where they came from.

They were extremely noisy! The neighbors were probably pretty pissed (We lived in town.) They also ate constantly. They were just regular goats, though, not Miniature Nigerian Dwarf Goats.

Your dad came home from a BAR with them?:rotfl2: Am I the only one that finds that the funniest part of your post?:lmao: Wonder if he won them in apoker game? That is a hoot!!!!:rotfl: BTW, madd, I had a pet goat one time and it definately isn't as much fun as one would think. He ate everything in sight(rose bushes, shrubbery, trash, etc..). He also would get in a rut where he would bleat ALL night long.:headache: And the worst part was, when he became a teenaged goat, he started pi$$ing in his beard, and, believe me, that is not pleasant at all!!!:scared1:

I was waiting for someone to pick up on that.

What's even funnier is that another time he brought home 4 rabbits. :confused3 :rotfl2:

I love, love, love the pictures of the new baby. What a great thing for you to see every day..I love:love: him...

Kellie, do you actually feel HEAT when that is going on? Throughout your entire body, just in spots? I have heard about people getting "burned" from radiation, but I didn't know if it was literal or not. Poor baby, I wish I could come and hold your hand..that is if I wouldn't get burned..

I don't hate the beach, I just prefer the pool. When we go to the beach, I sit my grand derrierre in my beach chair and pretty much don't move til it's time to go.. The boys run in and out of the waves, I make them wear a life jacket if they go more than a few feet out..We have a wicked undertow here that claims more than one unsuspecting tourist a year. Then when they want to dig in the sand, DH helps them dig huge, deep holes and it's my job to make sure no one walks into them and disappears.

I think that would be a LOSS at poker.:rotfl:

HRH
You do not so much feel the heat but it does burn the skin. I started the burn very fast,I guess I was just lucky. It looks like I sun bathed topless.:rotfl2:

So here's the picture:

A group of topless, sunburnt women, eating chicken legs, leaving the beach bar with a beard pi$$in' goat, watching out for holes filled with fish poop whilst they tried to plop down their derriere's, without squashing the bunnies.;)

Or, how about at the poker game...

"I'll see your herd of beard pi$$in' goats and raise you four raisinette making rabbits."

:goodvibes

I don't mind the beach- When I go- I want to get down to business and tan. All I bring is a huge sheet- a face towel, lotion and a bottled water- and that is all for DH and I to share. I lay there- flip a few times, relax and listen to the ocean. I do like to take a break and walk on the beach.

I hate going with DHs family- it is like a caravan going across the desert! SIL packs a cooler, has 10 chairs, 2 umbrellas, all the kids toys, a big hat! OMG- she is too high maintenance to bring to the beach- and then you have the kids with the sand and the running into the water and everyone chit chatting- when I see a group like that coming onto the beach and it is just DH and I,- I just *cringe*:scared: and say over and over- please don't plop your crap near us, please don't plop your crap by us!....ohhhhhh god--- yes, keep walking......further.....keep going...:rotfl2:

Maybe it is me- but I think laying in the sun on the beach is a "sacred thing" low maintenance, peace and quiet! :rotfl2: :confused3

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

OMG too funny, the power of positive thinking.

I guess it helps that I am kicking sand at them too!:lmao:

ETA- OMG- I Just had to add this too- I am notorious for the phrase no matter where I am....

I also shout out- while kicking sand- "MOVE IT OR LOSE IT PEOPLE, MOVE IT OR LOSE IT!"
thswear2-1.gif

Haaaaa! joking!;) .....but I do say that phrase all the time- it got me in trouble one time at a new job a few years ago.....I kind of said it to someone at the copy machine:lmao: ugh- the girl couldn't even take a joke!:rolleyes1
