Sorry if there's already a thread going on this, but I just got back and LOVED this movie!!! Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan were wonderful, as was the rest of the cast. The music is great too. This one deserves the positive reviews it's been getting!

Good to hear. My grandma wants to see this one. I remember her taking me to see the Jodie Foster version when it first came to theatres.

Michelle, I took Allison and a friend to see it yesterday and we all loved it!

Question for ya'll....have there been two other versions of this movie, or just one?

I believe there have been two versions before this. The first with Jodie Foster and another one several years ago.

My DD, age 15, and I saw it and we loved it.

The 2nd version was one where Shelley Long played the mother and came out around the time of That Darn Cat remake. It really wasn't very good. The one with Jodie Foster is one of my all time favorites and I have been waiting, impatiently, for it to come out on DVD. I remember my mom taking me to see in back in '77 and she wants to take me to see this one with my girls. I can't wait!

Went and saw it with some friends the other night, and did think it was pretty good.

Yes--excellent movie. Jamie Lee Curtis really captured the essance of a teenager. They all did a great job. I was laughing so hard.

I took my 7 yr old dd this afternoon. We loved it. I though Jamie Lee Curtis was great. Mark Harmon is also ageing very well.

We saw it on Thursday and loved it. Disney can do no wrong right now. I can't wait to see The Haunted Mansion and Brother Bear.

We saw it yesterday and we all really enjoyed it. It's always a plus to see Mark Harmon too.

saw it today! A great movie, very well done and great acting. It was so funny. Saw it with my 13 year old!!!
