I'm attending Northeastern in the fall and was browsing the sorority websites. Sigma Sigma Sigma interested me...can anyone give me any input?

I prob. wouldn't pledge my freshman year. I'll see when I get there, I was just doing some research. Northeastern's in the city, so I don't think that greek life is all that big there.

I'm in the same boat as Evil Princess. Attending DePauw University in the fall and it is a pretty big greek school. Unfortunately at the moment I can't get to my school's website but when I do I will most likely be asking about some sororities.

ALPHA PHI OMEGA!!!

Service Frat.. Great times, Great people.. Great parties too!

I was in APO at Southern Illinois University in the late 70's
It was social and service oriented. It was made up of the type of people I wanted to hang with .. people who were INVOLVED in the community. APO is an extension of the Boy Scouts. It is co-ed and known as the UN GREEK.. but it has many of the Greek traditions.. APO did not have a Frat./Sor. House. That was ok.. we partied elsewhere on and off campus. We also participated in many community service projects, including renovation of a playground at a skilled nursing facility which included the young mentally ********, Cancer, ALS, JDF, etc.fundraisers, tutoring programs for the young, renovation projects at local parks, and we were the PROUD HANDLER"S of the SIU MASCOTS>> THE SALUKIS!!
I had a great time with APO! I would encourage anyone who had the bug to do community service to look into Alpha Phi Omega.


so STEVE H... I totally disagree that "Service Frats are LAME" as you claim.. May I ask why you feel that way?
