Frances - DoubleTree and beach

We have reservations for the DoubleTree on Cocoa beach in two weeks. I called today and was told the DoubleTree sustained quite a bit of damage. She said if our reservations were in the next month, they would probably be canceled. She said they had (or would have) a lot of large equipment in at the hotel.

However, she did say the beach area was really very pretty. She said it looked like no one had ever been on it.

I know I was anxious for updates on the hotel and beach area, so wanted to share for others.
