Which bakery would you go to for lunch?

Kringla Bakeri in Norway!! We absolutely love it there and make it a point to eat there every year. If you're on the dining plan, you get soup, a sandwich, dessert and a drink for a quick meal. They don't have a huge variety, but what they have is yummy!

Another vote for France. I Rice Cream from Norway...but for lunch, definitely France.

I would vote for France too even though I am a Norwegian-American.

Both are great if you can get to them both on your trip. If I had to pick, i would pick France. ham and Cheese croissant and a naplolean!!!

Then sneak over to the wine shop in france for a nice glass of wine .

Wow, that seems like a lot of food! And we will be on the plan.

Are both bakeries the same in terms of the number of lunch entree options available? I've looked at the menus online, but wasn't sure how accurate they are. It looks like France has a ham and cheese croissant, ham and cheese quiche, and a ham and cheese sandwich and that's it.

France. I love getting a ham and cheese croissant and a strawberry tart for lunch. It is a smaller lunch than the Norway bakery so it leaves more room for eating other treats around WS. Also I am not terribly impressed by the sandwiches at Norway. Norway does have more choices though.

we love france however the norway bakery sanwiches are sooo good and the deserts are great too. i love the idea you get salad or soup or fruit cup with sandwich and desert. or if you would like to try the deserts @france and have soup,salad or fruit with there awesome sandwiches.

If on the DDP I'd go with Norway since you get soup, sandwich, dessert, and a large drink whereas the French bakery you get only a sandwich/quiche/cheese plate, dessert, and a smaller drink. If not on the DDP, it would depend on what I'm in the mood for. I like the sandwiches and soup better in Norway, but prefer the French desserts.
