Framing DVC Canvas

Does anyone know how best to go about framing the new DVC Canvas print we got? A plain print could go in a picture frame, but since this includes about 1/2 inch think framing to stretch the canvas, I'm not sure how it's supposed to be framed. Any ideas?

Normally, giclee prints are not framed, they are hung with nails on the wall. It is a more modern look. The sides of the canvas should be printed also, although I don't know, because I haven't received the print!

Yes, the sides are printed as well. It's an aweesome piece. And I also agree that I think it just gets hung as-is, no frame necessary.

I agree that you can hang the print without framing it, however we have a traditional home, and it looks alot better framed (in our house at least) just took it to a framing place and they took care of the rest. It looks collector quality with a nice frame around it.

Carefully pull it off the wood frame and then flat frame it?

You can definitely frame it, you will just need a deep set frame suitable for canvas. I mean think of how many valuable paintings are on canvas and are framed.

We have a traditional home also and will frame ours. I am going to make a wood frame, whenever mine shows up

I must be completely out of the loop. But what is everyone talking about? How do I get one of these prints?

As far as I know, every member should be getting one, in a box, with their 2008 point charts/vacation planner. Ours just arrived today, but I'm willing to bet that the mailing took place over several days, so they will not be arriving all at the same time.
