I posted a question a while back as a response to another topic, but since I didn't get a response, I thought I would go with a new thread.. I would like to frame my Easter Egg hunt pins from WDW this year, but I am not really sure the best way to do it. I know others are EXPERTS at this, so I was looking for some guidance. My first thought was a shadowbox of some sort with the pins aranged either around a picture of the world (mickey's that is) or perhaps an Easter Picture, but looking at the shadowboxes at the craft store, I don't like the depth from the glass. SO.. When you frame the sets in a regular frame, how do you put the pins in without them sticking out the back, do you use a border, etc.. :) I'm totally clueless here, so any help is apreciated, and pictures of what you've done would be great for idea's!

TIA

Doug

Hi Doug

We use regular frames and let the pins stick out the back. We take them to Michaels and have them finish off the back with paper to cover the pinbacks and they put these little squares on the corners of the frame that stick out past the pin backs and allow the frame to sit flush against the wall. :)

I apreciate the response. I will head over to Michael's this WE and see how that will look!

I knew someone would have EXACTLY what I was looking for! Those framed sets are incredible! :D :D :D Very nice work, and an outstanding resource for me.

THANKS!
