FR.QT. Boat does it stop

Hello, I see on these boards that the boat picks up at PORT R the sister resort. Does it also pick up at fr.qt? Or will we have to walk down to riverside? Also is there certain times it when the boat goes or do you just stand there and when it goes by it stops? I would like to go down to DD for dinner and just need to know how much time I will need to alot. We are going to west side does it stop there or do you have to get off at marketplace? If you get off at marketplace is this a long walk? Also were would we get the boat to get back to fr.qt. thanks for info on boat. I have stayed here but never used the boat for transportation.

The boats were not operating when I was there in November, but my understanding is that there are boats from FQ to DD. I believe the boat service has been restored now. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

The boats pick up at both locations, at the moment since only PO-R is open, I assume that is where it is picking up. Im sure that as soon as PO-FQ is open, the boats will be there too. I have always thought of FQ as the more primary place for the boats anyway... I think they were available only there for some time.
