DH had never been there, and we wanted a quick in and out tonight.
I like the atmosphere there. And for a food court, the food ain't bad either.
Even with the DDE discount card, we spent $20 for both of us with only bottled lemonade (one each) to drink.
I had the "pot roast". Which was really just slow cooked beef with some half gravy and half juice over it. (Tasted better than it sounds.
)
And this came with a choice of two sides and a wedge of cornbread. I had mashed potatoes/gravy and mac & cheese. The mac and cheese was fine. But tasted just like Stouffer's. Which I think is what LLT serves, as Stouffer's is their sponsor. (Unless that has changed.)
DH had seafood jumbalaya (sp?) which also came with a piece of corn bread. Large plate.
The cornbread is even good.
Since this is counter service, we had paper plates, cups and plastic ware. But oh well.
The place was dead. Short walk from the parking area.
Their AC was not working
and it was just as hot inside as out. Debatable which was the worse.
Just as we were finishing up, cool air started coming. I pity the CMs working in the kitchen tonight!
For a quick bite, and decent food, not a bad choice. No worse than going to a sit down off site chain restaurant. And when you think about it, places like Panera cost not much less and you do not get a plentiful hot meal like we had.
