FPs?

We have not been to Disney World in a few years and are not sure how things work now. If you do not get your tickets through Disney and you do not stay on Disney property, can you still get FPs? Are the kiosks even still active? We are used to arriving at park opening and doing the FP thing as we go throughout the day. Thanks in advance........

Yes and yes. If not staying onsite you'll be allowed to make FP+ reservations 30 days in advance (compared to 60 days if onsite). Just make sure that your tickets are linked to your MDE account. What type of kiosks? The legacy FP kiosks are gone, and in their wake are new FP+ kiosks and CM with iPads to assist you in choosing. You can make day-of FP+, while in the park, but just know that headliners are often "sold out" well in advance.

I'm sure someone will answer you in more detail, but I'll give a quick response.

If you're not able to get FPs ahead of time, there are kiosks in the parks. Problem for you would be, you'll be stuck selecting from whatever is left over each day when you get there. Meaning, little to zero chance of getting one for Seven Dwarves, or Toy Story, or Soarin'.

I believe that as long as you have tickets purchased and can link them to a MDE account, you can preselect FPs at a certain point, closer to your arrival day than if you were staying on property.

I'm in awe....wow....it's been a while since we have gone...and it seems there needs to be SO much planning before we even arrive! We are arriving in September....when should we get our tickets? and fastpasses?...Feeling a little overwhelmed.
