FP with an old ticket

My mom is joining us in the parks 3 days with an old non expiring ticket. I know she can't book FP ahead of time and just has to go to GS to exchange the ticket. We are planning on doing that Friday and her first park day isn't until Sunday with us. She will has a magic band and is on our reservation since she is staying with us. Will the "replaced" ticket link with her MB so we could book FP on Friday? Or will she have to wait until she is in the parks all 3 days?

You can ask the CM to link the ticket or you can link it as soon as you receive it. Book FPs or "Change Party" in your booked FPs to add her as soon as it is linked.
