My FP+ window opens tomorrow morning! It's my first time EVER booking them - the last time we were at Disney was 2003 and we barely figured out the paper fast passes! I have a list of the rides we want to book/days to book them and my alarm is set...anything else I should know/do? THANKS!

So excited for you. Just booked mine today.

If you have super high line rides (frozen ever after, 7dmt, etc) do those first, even if you're jumping around day to day. I just reserved frozen today, called in at 6:58, and already availability was dwindling (could be because of my huge party size though).

My main advice to you is to sign in to your MDE account today and make sure all your tickets are properly linked to your account(s).

Other than that, I'd go with the above advice and book your most important ones first. You'll find that they like to "suggest" times for your selections. Concentrate on the one that's important to you and get that into a time slot you like. You can play with the easier FP's individually later.

  • Epcot and DHS have a Tier system where you may only prebook one Tier 1 attraction
  • After you use your 3rd Fastpass, you can use the My Disney Experience App to book another one
  • If you don't have a Smartphone, purchase a cheap Android 5 prepaid phone (such as a $20 Tracfone at Walmart) to use the MDE App on property; the parks have free wifi, so you don't need any "minutes" or "time" on the phone to access the MDE App
  • Try to book your Fastpasses in the morning so you can get additional fastpasses later in the day

Good idea. There's also some really inexpensive small tablets out there (especially this week) for about $35...

Thanks everyone! I actually just upgraded my iPhone, so I will be good to go once we're in the park (actual reasoning given to my husband: "if I get the new iPhone I won't necessarily need to carry the DSLR every day at Disney..." :) ). And I checked this morning and our tickets are definitely linked to our account. I will most definitely do Frozen first...though I'm nervous about getting it even at 7 am. We're a party of 3, so hopefully that will help - it's one of the things my daughter is most looking forward to for our trip! Aside from Frozen and 7 Dwarves, are there other rides that should be a priority to book? We're doing 2 days in Epcot so I will also be booking Test Track for our 2nd day there.
