We went for 9 days in April, our first ever FP+ trip ever and were pleasantly surprised with how much we liked it. They had just started the 4th additional FP while we were there and that really helped me to accept the new system a bit more.
I just got on the site at midnight and I was finished with ALL our FP+ plans in less than 15 minutes. I got A&E at the exact time I wanted and I was able to score two SDMT FPs, so I am thrilled. Add in the extra Frozen stuff at HS, the additional MK EMH that was added for our stay last week and the downgrade of Maelstrom and I have to say: I like FP+
We have Premiers, so we go to DLR a lot, but we are doing back to back WDW trips for the first time in a long time. Now if they could only do something about the August weather...
ETA: with our APs, I can now book any day 60 days out. Interesting twist. I wonder if you could make a room only booking and book FPs in advance of your stay, use the FPs and then cancel the room booking before the deadline. We aren't local, so that isn't an option for us, but it is interesting.
