FP+ Strategy: MSEP FP+ or 4th FP+?

We're going at the end of August (first time going this time period). I currently have an MSEP FP+ for the 9 pm parade and 2 other FP+ for 9:35 - 10:35 am and 10:50 - 11:50 am.

I can either keep the MSEP FP+ if it's a worthwhile FP+ (in terms of saving us line-up time and getting us a good view) or change it for something else for 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Then, ride by 1:00 pm and try to get a 4th FP+ for the afternoon. We're having dinner at Cali Grill at 5:15, so we would not want any FPs for 5:00 - 7:30 pm.

How good is the availability for 4th FP+ for rides such as Splash, BTTM, Buzz, Haunted Mansion, if I were to change the MSEP FP+ for one earlier? How useful is the MSEP FP+?

We're only going for a long weekend, and my DH likes MK the least, so this will likely be our only evening at MK.

We were at MK in early June. On our first day there, we used our first two FPs in the late morning as you have planned. At the last minute, I was able to switch our third to the elusive Anna and Elsa meet and greet but it wasn't until 8:45PM. I went back and forth on what to do and we ended up keeping the A&E FP because it was important to my youngest. But, we had a great day anyway. We got there early(but after rope-drop), before the lines were too long and rode some of the good rides before our two early FPs. We went back to the hotel around 3 for a swim break and ate dinner then returned around 7. Lines were pretty low then, too, so we rode a couple before our FP. (Our 2nd day at MK was so, so crowded but we had all of our FP for the morning and were able to pull a 4th around 11:30 for Haunted Mansion (BTMRR was still available at that time, can't remember what else) and could have pulled a 5th but we ran out of time (were only there for a half day).

So, if you decided to keep the parade FP, you'll still be able to do plenty. However, we were late lining up for the Electrical Parade because of the meet and greet but had no trouble finding a good standing spot by Town Hall. (It was quite a pain to have to make it down Main Street but near the entrance, there was plenty of viewing room.)

Thank you! I'm thinking it may not be hard to simply line for the parade, and give up the FP+.

If you're going last week of August, there should be good 4th FP+ availability for all but A&E, 7DMT, maybe Splash and ETwB. I'd swap out of MSEP personally.
