FP Strategy for a one day trip

I hope this is the right place for this. I am an AP holder that lives local, so this isn't for me persay, but my friend that is coming down and hasn't been to Disney in over 20 years outside of Magic Kingdom (took him to a villans after hours just 2 months ago).

We are going for the purpose of checking out Galaxy's Edge first week in Sept. Now, I have been reading the threads in there, but some of threads aren't as active. This isn't pertaining to the land, but just how to maximize the day. We are going for EEMH, so we will be lining up around 5am. We currently have a FP to ToT at 905am, a burner FP, then a FP to Star Tours around noon. I upgraded him to a park hopper as I then kind of want to give him a best off at the other 2 parks. Once we are done with HS, going to go to AK and do FoP, Everest, and maybe the safari if time allow it. Then end at Epcot for F&W Festival. I was wondering if it would be better to just make my 3 FP's at AK if I am able to get FoP at some point instead of just trying to pound the app the entire day and picking one at a time. Since we'll be in HS so early, I should be able to standby SSD, ToT, and Rocking Roller Coaster without too long of a wait since most people will be in Galaxy's Edge.

What do you guys think would be the best route to go?

Based on our experience, it is nearly impossible to get a same day fastpass for FOP. We visited AK twice a few weeks ago and it never came up. I can't ride, so I refresh continually to get the best FPs for my kids. If FOP is a priority, I think you would be better off getting a FP for it while you can. We haven't done many HS rides standby, so I can't speak to exact wait times, but I would think that they won't be too long that early in the morning.

You don’t need your burner FP. Cancel it now.

As soon as you enter the FP line for ToT, book a FP for Park#2.

Right, I guess my question was keep ToT, or just book 3 at AK if I am able to get FoP and standy the rides at HS since we'll be there for 3 hours before offical Park opening .

Doubtful you’ll get FoP with a less than 30-day Booking window.

You can easily spend 3 hours in SWGE if your friend is into SW. DH and I spent over 3 hours in DL’s SWGE and we aren’t SW fanatics.

Anyway, keep ToT. As soon as you enter ToT, book a FP for Park#2 and a FP for Park#3.

I've had no problem finding one well within 30 days (most of time within a week), I got nothing else to do so I refrsh the app quite often lol.

Just wasn't sure what the best strategy would be, I've read some booking for other parks since they'll be there go eemh, some booking in HS. So just not sure.
