FP+ Splash Mtn Question

Today we are 60 days out and I was finally able to make our FP+ selections. I have been reading and trying to figure all of this out and trying to have a good attitude about it and I know it is going to really change the way we tour the parks. *ugh*

So I went to make our MK selections. Splash Mtn was listed, but it was grayed out. I thought maybe it was b/c I had chosen Space Mtn and it isn't supposed to be tiered, but maybe it is now (it's always changing!) So I went back and took out everything and tried to select Splash again, but again, it was grayed out. So I went ahead and completed everything without it.

Later, after researching on touringplans.com (their page was just updated TODAY) that yes, it IS supposed to be a choice, I went back in to make changes. This time, Splash wasn't even listed as a choice.

Anybody know what's going on?

hmmm, it just occurred to me that maybe it was grayed out b/c of refurb. I checked the DIS - sure enough - that's the case. BUT the DIS states it is coming back 3/22 and I was searching for that day. Maybe Disney doesn't want to chance it.

Is it maybe because ride is currently closed for refurbishment?
