Hi fellow Disney lovers!

I am in the process of planning our FP+ reservations, 5 FP+. We arrive on Wednesday, September 12. Plane lands at ~8:30am. We have 12:15 reservations at Garden Grill and staying at YC. My hope was to get a Soarin' FP for right before or right after lunch. 60+5 is our next Epcot FP+ day. We have reservations at Akershus at 8 and the rides open at 9 so I was hoping to do Frozen at rope drop and Test Track as my FP+ tier 1. I'm flexible in flopping tier 1 rides around for availability. I'm more flexible on what tier 1 ride we get vs times as I will have three young kids and therefore will have tight ride windows before pool time/rest is needed.

Do you think this plan is feasible? If not, please feel free to advise back up plans. I haven't done Disney with more than 2 people in years and years so I don't know how to prepare my expectations.

I would do the Soarin fp after lunch on September 12. That will give you time to get to the hotel and not stress about getting to the park. If you arrive early, you can ride Living with the Land before lunch and walk around the land pavilion or go next door to the Seas. There is rarely a wait for Nemo and my kids love exploring that pavilion, too.

I think that your second Epcot day sounds good. If you can get to FEA at 9, the wait should not be long. I would also make your Test Track fp before lunch, as the ride tends to shut down with the afternoon rain.

This plan seems overall pretty good!

(I know nothing about children) Will they be too cranky after an early morning flight to be doing a lot in Epcot?

Otherwise, I absolutely agree with @cmsb in terms of going on the Land or Nemo if you arrive early!

This is a great idea. And do you think obtaining FP+ for those rides and preferred times is a realistic goal? I want to try to manage expectations ahead of time.

I know this is cheesy but I love having you all here for support and advice. Plus most people in my world don't get my love for WDW so I love being with like people!

Your plan is great - I would definitely get the Soarin FP after lunch - and Epcot FPs have been very easy to get lately so you should have no trouble. Ask for your check at Akershus when you sit down - they are used to that and then you can be sure to be out of there by about 8:45am.

Yes! Smart thinking!

I have also noticed the last few times I've been there that the wait for FEA has not been too bad first thing in the morning. I believe we waited maybe 30 minutes during Princess race weekend in February. Not bad at all.

You should not have any problems booking Soarin or Test Track at the times you are hoping for. Of the Tier 1 fastpasses, it seems that FEA is still the hardest to get and there is plenty of availability for it. The hardest part of Epcot days is figuring out what to fastpass for tier 2. We usually do Spaceship Earth to avoid the outside line (we go in July). The others are a toss up!
