Hi all,

Just wondering if DLR is still accepting FP tickets beyond the return window. In other words, if your return time is from 1-2pm and you show up at 6pm, will they still let you ride?

WDW just changed that policy on our last visit in March and were making you return only during your window, whereas in the past they used to allow you to return any time after the start time on your ticket. I just wondered if I needed to adjust my planning. Thanks!

So very happy to hear this! I was wondering the same thing! We have become so spoiled with the flexiblity!

DLR is still taking FPs after the window. :)

Sorry this is a very sore subject for me. If I get ripped I don't care. I am entitled to my opinion, and that opinion is that FP return times should be enforced. Kudos to WDW for doing this.

Everyone is entitled to an opinon. Even if it's wrong ;) :duck: So nobody should rip you for that. But the question was about current policy, and current policy is that FPs are accepted past their return time, as long as it's the same day.

I got the question and it irks me to no end. Why can't Disney just enforce the times at DL like at WDW? Maybe it irks me so much because I might be to much of a rule follower. If it says come back between 1:30-2:30 then that's when I come back or I don't get a FP.

Thanks for answering, all! Since I am OP, I can't claim to know it all, but I did see on another thread a few moments ago that somebody did ride RSR after the window had ended, so I would assume this also applys to RSR.

I agree. I think they should extend the window to 2 hours & enforce the return time. What is the point of having a window if it is not enforeced? Why not just say return anytime after XYZ?

I totally agree.... its silly to have a window of time, might as well hand them out to use anytime or enforce the window... I understand 30 mins after but all day?

It does seem silly to have a window of time, then not really enforce it (other than at the start time). However, in our many WDW travels, we have never seen a negative impact in our FP line wait times. We tend to wait about the same amount of time if go during the actual window, or go later. In fact, it seems shorter many times when we go later. I don't think it is a huge deal at least at DLR or they would change it as well. Not sure what made WDW make the change, but perhaps they did find a negative impact on wait times for later in the day.
