Making FP ressies soon for my resort party of 4. My son's best fried lives in Orlando and wants to meet us there. He will be staying offsite but coming to parks with us. I linked his ticked to MDE account, will I be able to make FP ressies for him at 60 days out also? or no because he is not staying onsite?

I linked his ticked to MDE account,
1. will I be able to make FP ressies for him at 60 days out also?
2. or no because he is not staying onsite?
1. Yes.
2. Once he is linked to your MDE, you can make his FP+ at 60 days out.

Robo, even if the person is not on the reservation? I thought that they had to be on a WDW resort reservation to get 60 days out.

From the FP FAQ (note the last bullet):

Onsite Guests - 60 Days Before Check-in Date:
  • Guests staying at WDW owned and operated resorts (including DVC) with a room/ticket package.
  • Guests staying at WDW owned and operated resorts (including DVC) with a room-only reservation and valid tickets booked separately and linked to an MDX account.
  • Guests staying at the Swan or Dolphin resorts and valid tickets linked to an MDX account.
  • Guests linked to or listed on an onsite guest's MDX account (controlled by the onsite guest) and valid tickets linked.
