Hi everyone. My window to reserve my fp+ is opening tomorrow and I don't know what to do. So here's my tentative plan:

7/22 MK
7dmt 10am
Peter Pan 11am
Big thunder 12pm

7/23 Epcot
Test track 10am
Soarin 11am
3rd pass?

7/24 HS
Toy story 10am
Star Wars 11am
3rd pass?

7/25 AK
Safari 10am
Festival lion king time??

7/28 MK
Jungle cruise 10am
7dmt 11 am
Lunch reservations at 12:25
Dumbo 2:00

7/29 Epcot
Test track 10am
Soarin 11am
Nemo 12pm

How does this look? We are traveling where the crowds are 8-9 based on the crowd calendar plus it's super hot. Planning on spending the afternoons at the pool. Staying at the Dolphin so we spend lots of time at the boardwalk. Need help from the pros. TIA!!!

You can't pick Soaring and Test track together. Their both tier one. So I'd recommend doing one on one day and having the other for the next Epcot day.

Get there at rope drop and if you have a test track FP, then head straight to Soarin to ride it or vice versa

And also for Epcot..if you want to do SpaceShip earth, I'd FP that over Nemo. Nemo is normally a really short line, if not a walk on. Spaceship earth consistently has a wait time, especially at higher crowd levels.

Festival of the Lion King you don't need a FP for. But if you don't have anything else to FP, then why not. You do get in slightly ahead of standby. But every seat is good. Both lines wait outside. We always FP Safari, dinosaur, and expedition Everest.

For HS I'd get a FP for Tower of Terror if you guys want to ride it. It's a tier 2 attraction. There's really nothing else at HS ride wise we FP, so normally we'll make the 3rd one either Lights Motors Action or Indy. Indy is really a waste of one..but the FP for LMA is good because it cuts down on how long you have to wait in line. FP enters ahead of standby and the FP line is a lot shorter. So you can show up a lot later than those waiting in standby and get in before them

Your FP choices look a lot like mine.

First Epcot Evening: Soarin', Spaceship Earth, Nemo (I was trying to keep all FP on one side of FW.)
HS Day: Star Tours, Muppets, Toy Story (Muppets likely not needed, but what else is there?)
AK Day: Safari (10), FOL (11am show), Kali after lunch. (Safari & FOL are near each other so I scheduled them one hour apart.)
Second Epcot Evening: Spaceship Earth, Test Track, Mission: Space (SE first in case we are late getting to the park. TT & MS near each other.)

My other days are similar. We do rope drop & some EMH where we will hit the big rides first.

^^^ I second PP. go check out Mesaboy's thread. Everything you need to know and more about FP.

The only piece of advice that I will give you is that when it is hot and crowded we try to make sure our fastpasses are close together or traveling in one direction. The first time we made fastpass reservations we were all over the place - going from one area to a complete opposite side of the park. Since we go to MK many days we keep fastpasses to a particular area. Like Fantasyland/Tomorrowland - Adventureland/Frontierland. We do this at AK as well - we make sure not to go back and forth. It is so large that we don't want all the walking when it is so hot and crowded.

We love Kali River Rapids at AK if you need another FP. We enjoy Spaceship earth at EPCOT. Figment and crush at EPCOT are cute but you don't need fastpasses for those.

Enjoy - it should go smoothly.

I like the strategy of getting your 3 FP+ in morning 10am/11am/12pm, then you can start getting additional FP at kiosks as early as possible, and/or have flexibility to park hop or take a pool break in afternoon. I also like your ride choices.

Like others have said, read mesaboy2's FP+ guide. Soarin and Test Track are in the same tier and can't be booked together. Also, Spaceship Earth is a good one to FP at Epcot, the line can get long. Nemo doesn't get too bad. Other AK options would be Everest, Kali, Dinosaur.

On 7/28 you've got a 12:25pm ADR and 2pm Dumbo FP+. Note that your one hour FP return windows cannot overlap, but there's no problem with a FP overlapping an ADR. Also note that you can return for your FP 5 minutes early (and supposedly 15 minutes late). Maybe you wanted the Dumbo after lunch, but you could also easily use all 3 FP+ before lunch and get a 4th FP at a kiosk before your ADR. For example, you could reserve 3 FP+ for 9:45am/10:45am/11:45am. Get to your 3rd FP at 11:40am, you'll be on and off with plenty of time to get to your 12:25pm ADR.

You do not need to make your reservations in order....as in day 1, day 2, day 3.....etc......I would make your MK (7DMT) reservations first thing (along with the other MK FP+), then I'd make the HS (Toy Story) reservations, then I'd make your EPCOT reservations......... If your times are not perfect when you 1st get your reservations, just worry about the main one you want and try to get it close to the time you want. After you get all the reservations secured then you can go back in and tweak the times to the "not so popular" rides. (I probably changed my times 30+ times before we ever got there.)

At EPCOT I think you can get a FP for the Character Spot. For those people who always skip the characters due to the lines....this will give you a chance to get a few good pictures with a minimal wait.

I agree with PP- make all of your MK FP's first. Are you going to try and do Enchanted Tales with Belle? If so, I'd do that in place of Jungle Cruise (and just ride that early). Also, dumbo line seems to move more quickly with the
2 units running.
