FP+ reservations for Feb

Just an update for anyone whose FP+ period opens in the next few days (I am not including President's weekend in this!!!!) Our window opened today, and I did not stay up til midnight last night; I just did it this morning. Everything was available this morning between 7-8am (including A&E, although we weren't interested). We even got 7DMT both days we tried (one early in the window). I was a little worried about TT with Soarin' down, but was even able to get that both of our EP days.

I booked this morning, too. I did get up at Midnight and A&E were only available in the morning on our last day. Had I been open to afternoon/evening A&E they were available earlier in our trip. Otherwise, like you, we got everything we wanted on the days and times we wanted.

I actually thought my day was today, but when I checked MDE, they say that I am 61 days out, so my Fastpass Day is tomorrow. That's good, gives me some time to decide what I want to select at each park. Actually three parks. We will not be visiting DHS this trip.

We just made ours for our Jan31-Feb 7 trip. We were able to get everything we wanted, except even at 12:01 A&E were not available on the 2nd (did get it for the 4th)

I did mine tonight, and I had the same worry about Test Track. However, I did get it once around noon (the sweet spot for us to transition to WS without having to double back too much) and once in the late afternoon the day we arrive. However, in both cases, I was making some timing changes and did notice that several time windows were not there. They were not timing conflicts with the rest of my FP's, so I would bet they were full. So I wouldn't wait too long for it, but it definitely doesn't fill up first night.

OK, imagine a world where we turn down A&E fastpasses because while available, the times were inconvenient. That says a lot about the potential crowds. Not too long ago people would have changed their vacation plans and flights to get an A&E fastpass. Interesting.

MDE shows you at 61 days until the very moment of midnight, then it changes to 60 days and unlocks the fp system to you. It is confusing... the day it shows 61 days, at midnight (eastern) that night your window opens up.

I just checked the site, to make sure my window had opened. It did. I did not actually start the process though, I will do that later today when I have more time. I need to write down all my ADR times, so nothing conflicts with those.

A bit worried....our trip begins February 3rd and it appears as though I currently could make FP reservations through January 1st. Something seems very off. I called today and the CM was also confused, but told me to call back tonight at 12AM Florida time, as she was calculating that tomorrow would be my opening day for making FP reservations. I disagree with her calculation, I think it would actually be in 2 more days, but I am staying up to make the call. Just 19 more minutes.....

On my last trip in February '15 I never got to ride 7DMT and I am determined to get it for my upcoming trip.

If you are staying on site, it will jump ahead 30 days when you are in the range of your stay. I was only able to see up till Dec 30, then the next day I could see Jan 31

In a wonderfully stupid move by Disney, I just got info in the mail from Disney inviting me to get ready to make FastPass Reservations on Dec 2nd...It came on December 8th!!

To be fair, only Anna and Else are book completely, but several attractions have limited time options. It would be nice if their mail would get here BEFORE the start date, rather than bragging that my time that is coming up is actually a week ago.
