FP Reservation Question

I hope this is a good place for this question. If not, please direct me to a better place.

We are planning a trip for March 2016 with Me, DH, DD (3 1/2 yr), DS (8 mo), and my mom and dad. DH and I will be staying on property with the kids, but my parents are looking to stay off site to save money (long story). My question is can DH and I purchase park tickets for everyone and link them to our MDE and book Fastpasses at our 60 days for everyone even if we don't all have hotel reservations? I hope that makes sense. Thanks in advance

No, all guests must be on an on-site reservation to get the 60 day window.

If your on site reservation had available occupancy, you could add them to your room. (Which might only work in Deluxe or Family Suites)... But there are charges for more adults in a room.

Otherwise booking a campsite at FW seems to be the cheapest way of making your parents look like they are "on property"

Everyone who is listed in your MDE account will be able to book their FPs when your 60-day window opens.

The FP booking area opens to everyone with a linked ticket - it doesn't matter if they are offsite or onsite. The onsite reservation is what triggers the FP booking window to open at 60 days - any guest who is listed or linked to the onsite MDE can certainly book FPs as soon as the booking window opens.

Be prepared to book for your parents at 60 days out!

I'll call it a nice feature--the ability to let everyone in your group have fun together in the parks, even if they aren't all staying in the same place each night.

Ummmm...THANK YOU!!! I had no idea this was possible. I booked DH's and my FP+'s on Wednesday and his parents who are coming a few days later were just hoping to copy ours when their window opens on Monday. Got them copied today .
