FP+ questions for off-siters

In the beginning stages of planning a trip late June 2017 for 10 people. Will probably stay off-site (free time share exchange can't be beat), but if we do that'll be a new world for us with FP+, & Ive got a few questions/opinions...

My immediate family of 4 were there last year, stayed on site & got magic bands. I'm assuming they can be reused for our next trip, & somehow our new tickets we buy loaded onto them?

I realize if we stay off-site this time we will only be able to schedule fast pass +30 days out. Generally speaking, is there anything "good" left 30 days out in the middle of the summer?

What about my group that doesn't have magic bands? Is it necessary to buy them for them before hand? If not, how do they use FP+?

Can we load our credit credit card or a prepaid visa into a Magic band? We did while we were onsite, just checking to see if that's an onsite perk only.

Yes. The MB provides the link to everything that is linked to your MDE account: tickets and FPs.

Yes. You'll find availability throughout each park day.

They'll use their plastic tickets to enter the park and FP lines.

No. When onsite, charges are linked to the credit card on file for the room account. It won't apply to you.
