I am 62 days out and staying on property. I can select my fastpasses in 2 days.

I logged in today to check the fp calendar, and it shows that FP can be selected until July 6, and that is 30 days out.

Will this reset for me when I am 60-days out? I expected the calendar to show Aug 5 today.

The reason it's not showing August 5 is that it knows you check in on August 7.

However it doesn't know if maybe you are making a visit before then as a non Disney-resort guest. That's why the 30-day mark is showing.

Make sense? This initially confused me the first time I saw it.

It's showing you a 30-day window because you must have tickets and resort linked separately (not a package). As the previous poster said, the system knows you have an on-site reservation but does not know whether you'll use your linked tickets as part of that. Hence the 30-day window.

You can use that 30-day window to go in and "practice" booking FP+ to get a hang of the system. Just make sure you cancel whatever you book before your 60-day window opens.

Everyone always worries so much about this.
You should only worry if on the day you're supposed to be able to start making FP+ selections it doesn't work.
