FP+ question

My husband and I are planning our first trip without kids to WDW in July. He is a chicken and doesn't ride the thrill rides. Could this work to my thrill seeking heart's advantage? If we both make FP+ reservations for Expedition Everest, can I use his Magic Band to ride while he happily grabs a drink and waits for me?

technically you "shouldn't" but yes it will work.
my parents took advantage of this in november because my mom doesn't like thrill rides but my dad does.
he went on splash mountain twice and TOT twice.
