If one or more members of our party decide not to go to a park one day, but we have their Magic Bands with us in the park, can we use the Fast Passes associated with those bands?

I know my husband and a friend of ours used mine and his wife's magic bands for TOT but we were in the park.

Disney has not yet turned on the feature that requires a ticket be used to enter a park before it can be used for FP+.

I was, but it's my understanding that it's not necessary. Of course, this could change any day, but I think we'd see reports of it here.
