FP+ Question with multiple rooms

Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've been here. Gotta question for ya!

We are going to WDW in October, and we are in three rooms with three different reservation numbers. I understand that when we are able to make our FP choices, it is computerized and the computer makes the choice of time...is this correct? How do we get all three rooms on the same time for FP? What about a dining reservation that is for when the computer schedules the FP at the same time? Do we just go on the app and change it? HELP!? I'm so confused right now!

The computer will initially pick the times, but you can change the times if you dont' like them. And if you have the entire group added as friends or family, you can choose for all of them as well, no matter if you are staying in different rooms.

It's up to you to make sure you don't have a FP scheduled during your dining reservations.

Thank you for clarifying. I was reading something posted about the computer makes the choices, so that is why I was so confused. I do have the others as my friends and family, I didn't realize I could make all the choices. AWESOME! As for the dining, I thought the computer made a choice for you, and then I would just have to change it if it falls on an ADR.

You need to add everyone to your Family & Friends list. For any of those that have their own MDE account, you need to use the invite function to connect with them. For managed profiles, you need to use the 'Invite Through a Mutual Friend' option.

Everyone age 3 and older needs to have park admission linked to MDE to be eligible for FP+.

Once everyone is listed on the Family & Friends page, you can make FP+ selections for the entire group at once. Any of your connected friends (those with their own MDE account) can also make the FP+ selections for you and any others that are listed on their family & friends page.

The computer will give you a choice of three sets of times. You can pick any of them. Once you pick them, you can change any of the times. It won't let you have two FPs in the same time period, so if you're trying to move TSM to a different time, and the Muppets is already scheduled for that time, you'll have to move the Muppets first.

I have a question that sort of goes along with this. We are going to be in two rooms - with my family of 4 in one and my parents in the other. We will want to do some things together but like at HS I know they would rather do something other than Disney Jr.

If we like our reservations together, are we then committed to having all of our FP+ reservations the same?

Would we be better not to link ourselves and I just coordinate with my mom when we pick the attractions we want to do together?

Nope not at all. Your party is still able to individually choose separate attractions as long as the total number of FP+ experiences doesn't exceed the allowed amount.

What about children under three? Do they get FP+?

No. No ticket, no FP. They just come along into the lines with an adult. Every time I've seen an under 3 go through the CM has asked the child to also scan their band. Maybe it's a head count thing.
