We normally start our day by heading right to Test Track at Epcot. Getting on right away. I am figuring for our next visit we will get a FP for one then ride the other. (kind of like MGM w/ TOT and RnRRC).

My question, which would you FP and which would you ride first? Mission Space vs. Test Track.

When we went a couple of weeks ago the standby lines for each were terrible as soon as we entered the park! Of course, we couldn't get to EHM for Epcot during our stay because it landed on our travel days.

We got FP for Mission:Space and were waiting at the FP booth for TT when our our window for a new FP opened. Both return times were hours later, but we were spending the day there so that was OK.

Some people get ill after riding M:S, so you might want to do TT first then get the FP for M:S, just in case. I regret not being able to do TT more than once this trip, but the lines were continously bad and the FPs ran out early.

According to tourguidemike.com, due to some staffing cutbacks the earliest return times for FPs will not be until 10 a.m. So just keep that in mind as you weigh your FP options and strategies.

We got there at park opening on a non EMH day and the whole crowd goes to these two rides. We got the MS fastpass and went to test track and there was already a line so we did single riders. After that we went to Body Wars and did some of the other exhibits there until our FP was due. It was around 10:20 and we were among the first 100 there.

Here's a heads-up- not sure if this is still operating or not but I'll post anyway. This was the day of the soft opening (Aug 15)- we got to Epcot early (9 or 9.15) and I headed straight for the single rider line for Mission Space (about a 25 min wait). DH went to get FP's for TT and when he put in his park pass, it gave him a surprise FP for Mission Space for straight away (up till 10am) in addition to the TT FP's.

I was already in the line so he couldn't tell me, so when I met up with him at 9.55 I could have ridden again (was feeling a little queasy and while I would have loved to, I knew it would finish me off). I stood at the entrance to MS and shouted "anyone want a 10am FP for MS". People looked at me like I was nuts, but some guy came and took it and was pretty happy.

We did babyswap at TT, and I spoke to the CM while waiting to ride. He said they would be giving the surprise FP's for a while, he wasn't sure how long, for anyone getting TT fp's first thing in the morning.

BTW- MS is the best attraction I've ever experienced IMO- I didn't feel nauseous during the ride, but for about 15mins later I was a bit wobbly- nothing a quiet seat and a cold drink of water didn't cure- I rode TT about 30 mins later and was fine.

Thank you. We usually head right to TT. Less than a 10 minute wait. By the time we get off the ride though, the lines have usually grown to a 20-30 minute wait. It usually works out best when they have the characters up front and people are greeting them.
