FP Issues, need advice

This morning was our 60-day FP+ window. We were going along fine the first two days of a 7-day park trip and on day 3 we got an error for my mom saying she exceeded her amount of FP+ reservations. She is going with my brother in July (off site) for five days and our trip (on site) is in September.

We called and were told that although she had enough tickets for both trips linked to her account she can only have so many FP+ reservations on her account total. She was told b/c she has some of her stay on site she did get a few extra reservations.c

So, I went ahead and made the reservations for the rest of us thinking it would be easier to try to add her as 1 then do a party of 5 in July.

1. Is there a limit on FP+ reservations? Is there a difference on whether you stay off site or on as I know people yesterday were talking that they could book up to 60+14.

2. If after her July trip and can add her FP+ reservations to ours, if I can't match them, is there a strategy that I can use the child swap as we have two 18 month olds

Did you call the MDE acccount line? If so I would call back just to see if you get a different answer.

I just had the same issue with someone in our party. I made fastpasses for the rest of the party. For him, I just made as many fastpasses as I could, starting with the "most" important ones. Then, my plan is to add more fastpasses for him as he uses his July fastpasses.

He has a week long, on site, July trip planned and an annual pass. I could only book one extra day for him.

If you could be a little more specific regarding the amount of park days she is planning and what kind of ticket media she has linked to her profile, we may be able to give you a more specific answer.

Does she have an AP? AP's are only allotted 7 days worth of FP's within a 30 day period, unless their staying on site. However if you already have an off-site trip booked, those fps interfere with booking on site. The system doesn't differentiate the two for whatever reason. So since she's going for 5 days this month, she can only book 2 more days any other time. Once she uses her fps for Day 1 of her July trip, you can add her to one of the days for the on site trip. You can do this daily at the end of the night for all 5 days so then she'll have all 7 days of her trip booked.

This is an issue when having offsite days and then trying to book on site days. I don't stay on site so idk if it would work. But maybe if you book all your on site days, then you can try to do the offsite days. I'm thinking the system still wouldn't differentiate it though but it might let it.

Depending on the fps she has for July. If you're trying to add her to say one of the new Toy Story rides or a Pandora ride, then I'd see if she'd be willing to cancel one of her July days and add her to that on site day now.

I had the same situation when I was booking the for MNSSHP, very frustrating. What was odd was I was able to book for everyone in my party with the exception of my mother, although all listed under same reservation with exactly the same fp’s reserved for the entirety of our stay.

So we just called again and we gave them her ticket numbers again and they were able to add her to all of our FP+ reservations so if anyone else has this issue call again.
