FP & Halloween Party

We are going for a short 3 day trip in October, check in 10/5 and out 10/8 at POP. We have 2 day hoppers. 10/5 we are doing the Halloween party only and using our passes for 10/6 and 10/7. Do we get fast passes for 10/5 from 4pm-7pm or just on the other 2 days we are using our passes for?

Yes, you should be able to book FP for between 4:00 and 6:30 on the party day. You can actually book a little earlier than 4:00 as long as you window extends past 4:00 (since that is when you will be let in). 6:30 is the latest FPs are issues on party days so they can clear the park of non-party guests. I have done it many times and it has worked well.

That is how it has worked in years past, anyway. I know there have been reports of some party-only FP getting cancelled, but I don't know much about it. Check the main MNSSHP thread, but I think this was just an isolated issue.

I was able to book three fast passes starting at 3:30. As mentioned above, people have had their last days fast passes canceled and it appears that it is due to making fast pass reservations on their party day when they only had a party ticket. These people appear to have received an email as well. I didn't receive an email or have my passes cancelled. I guess we will see when the first party takes place.

We will be going to the Halloween Party on 10/29. We will be in HS in the morning, and go into MK in the mid-afternoon. Can we book 3 Fastpasses at HS and 3 Fastpasses at MK on our party tickets?

No, you are unable to have more than 3 FP pre-booked on any given day, regardless of the tickets being used. You can only use a party ticket for FP if you are not booking any others that day.

This scares me, I have 6 park day tickets and 1 MNSSHP ticket. On the party day I have 3 FP+ scheduled starting at 3:25. Are you saying that I could have my last day's FP+ cancelled?

If you go to the official 2017 MNSSHP thread on this very forum ( sorry I don't know how to post a link but you can search for it) you will be able to read all about people having issues with the fast pass system related to their party tickets. Some people have even posted there emails with CM's and the responses they received. I am not having this issue and others posted there that they are not having issues either. Just wanted to let you know what I read.
